Sambucas Elderberry is a flowering plant belonging to the Adoxaceae family. Elderberry is one of the most commonly used medicinal berries in the world. Used in the Bible days, Romans would used Elderberry to improve their complexion and treat cold and flu symptoms. The elderberry is used to treat influenza, infections, sciatica, headaches, dental pain, heart pain, and nerve pain, as well as a laxative and diuretic.
